Good Old Drive-in Movies

I remember those good old days of the Drive-ins being more popular than the regular one or two screen indoor movie theatres. Great movies like Flesh Gordon, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, anything bloody or gory or Japanese monster movies. With enough friends and enough beer, it was always a hoot.

Drive Ins are the best and don't have to worry about people talking during the movie.

HoHowdy replies on 3/6/2019 7:37 pm:
That is a big positive.

I just remembered, we smuggled Snarly McKinnon into Animal House at the drive-in, in the trunk of Colin's car, and I'm not sure if anyone ever let him out.

We smuggled bottled beer in my cousins 66 Chevelle convertible by stashing it in the top boot, it got cold, never close a convertible top with beer in it.

I miss the drive in we had here, we have to drive 45 minutes north and south just to enjoy them. That's a great Marquis..lol thanks for sharing and I hope your day is a good one..

My parents used to have KC Chiefs season tickets when the team was horrible, leaving the game the I-70 Drive-ins were still active, at least two of them had really hardcore stuff on them as we left the stadium, we got an education.

I miss the drive ins too. I am trying to recall the last time I went to one. LOL I think I saw Jaws at the drive in. I will have to check with my sister. There is one left in my area..about 45 minutes away in a town named Milford, NH. The X rated one was in a town named Litchfield. Unfortunately I never went to that one.
