This is a group for people with herpes--the gift that keeps on giving. It can be hard to meet people, get to know them, fall in love & then tell them, "Oh by the way,I have herpes"....I swear,when I tell someone I have "the Gift" they act like it's going to jump out of my pants & bite them...I'm amazed at what people don't know.......
There are no surprises here. We are up front about the fact that we have the Gift. By being honest from the very start we can walk freely without fear of discovery & rejection..... Not one single one of us got The Gift because we wanted it...Someone gave it to us, without our knowledge. We found out the hard way, after the fact... Now that we have it, we don't need to shut our lives down. We are still the same people that we always were. We are just a little more careful now.. We approach every new relationship with care & caution. We learned our lesson the hard way. It's time to move on & live our lives,Have a little fun! Make some friends...Lighten up a little!!! !!
